The rarest bird I’ve ever seen is a Rustic Bunting. I saw that in California.

Garrett began birding when his brother took an Ornithology class from Brad. at school. First wanting to do what his older brother was doing, his interest in birds grew into a passion for bird photography. His keen sense of detail and natural eye for composition has earned him an invitation to a Wildlife Photography workshop in Colorado this summer. I've made an effort to support his development as a birder, and someday when his photos grace a prominent magazine, I'll smile and remember our birding adventures in Costa Rica.
